I’ve been teaching IB Biology for over eight years, working with both SL and HL students. Most of my lessons focus on helping students understand the reasoning behind biological processes rather than memorising facts. I also guide students through Internal Assessments, from refining research questions to improving data analysis and evaluation before submission.

Hi! I’m a Biology tutor who enjoys making the difficult topics feel much more manageable. Genetics and ecology are probably my favourite units to teach because they connect well to real-life examples. I’ve helped plenty of IB students prepare for exams online, and we spend lots of time practising mark scheme wording as well as reviewing past papers together.

I currently tutor IB Biology full-time after several years working in biomedical research. My lessons are structured around the IB syllabus and tailored to each student’s strengths and weaker areas. I provide detailed support with experimental design, statistics for practical work, and the critical thinking needed for high-scoring examination responses.

I know Biology can feel overwhelming at first, especially topics like respiration and photosynthesis. My goal is to explain things in plain language before adding the scientific detail. Students often come to me for revision before mocks or finals, and we work through plenty of exam questions so nothing feels unfamiliar on the day.

For the past decade I have specialised exclusively in IB Biology, supporting students aiming for competitive university courses in medicine and life sciences. Alongside content review, I help students develop stronger exam technique and write well-supported IA reports. Every lesson is adapted to the student's pace and academic goals.

I started tutoring while finishing my postgraduate studies and discovered I really enjoyed working one-to-one. I mainly teach IB Biology and like showing students simple ways to organise revision without feeling overloaded.
